Nolee Bugarin is a Research Associate at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA, where she contributes to translational neuroscience projects with a focus on cellular and circuit-level mechanisms of disease. She earned her B.S. in Neurobiology with honors from the University of California, Irvine, where she was supported by the NIH-funded MARC Program and conducted independent research under Dr. Gyorgy Lur. During her undergraduate training, Nolee presented her work at national scientific conferences, including the Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting, and was recognized with the Carol and James McGaugh Award for her outstanding scholarship, character, and promise as a future neuroscientist. She brings strong technical skills, scientific curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to her research endeavors.
